The Folk’s Butterfly Farm out of Nescopeck will be at the Schuylkill County Fair for one day only, Tuesday, July 31.  They will be bringing a smaller size version of the butterfly tent as found in most recent years at the PA State Farm Show in January.  The tent will be up and operational for the public to visit with the butterflies between the hours of 3 and 7 PM.  Also during this time staff for the butterflies will be doing some educational presentations for the public on the indoor stage.

The tent enclosure will have all four stages of the butterfly life cycle with the exhibit.  All live stock will be indigenous to the state of Pennsylvania.  In addition to the livestock, the exhibit will have many educational posters and banners used to educate the public about life cycle, hesitate, and butterfly anatomy, conservation and much more.  The butterflies tend to roost around sunset and will no longer feed, so come for the day to enjoy the butterflies when they are most active.

Folks Butterfly Farm specializes in educating the public about the importance of butterflies, their habitat and conservation.  Visiting the exhibit is an educational experience designed to broaden a visitor’s horizons while they experience the wonder of the butterflies.

Enjoy the wonders of this butterfly exhibit as it will offer fun filled and informative programing for all ages, Tuesday, July 31 at the Schuylkill County Fair.
