Any 4-H’er at any point in time throughout their career may apply for the Outstanding 4-H’er Award. 4-Her’s were to fill out an application outlining their activities and accomplishments throughout the year. A letter of recommendation from the club leader accompanied the application. The application were reviewed by members of the 4-H Development Board. The awards are given in the three age groups of junior, intermediates and senior division and the 4-H member selects a category that they wish to apply. The committee had a very difficult decision to make regarding the recipients of this award. In the end six of the 12 recipients were from the Blue Mt. 4-H Livestock Club. They are to be commended for their work though out the year as a 4-H’er.
