When 4-H’ers keep records they learn to: plan and organize their work; budget their project and other financial records; improve their written communication skills; pay attention to detail, follow directions and meet deadlines; make decisions; set priorities; appreciate the life skills they are developing; and understand the values of keeping records. These record books allow 4-H’ers to learn life skills and build their leadership abilities. 4-H is building leaders for tomorrow.
