The entertainment spotlight at the M&T Stage will shine on the Twitty Fever Band on Tuesday, July 28 as they return to the Schuylkill County Fair for a repeat performance. Sponsored by Red Lion Café, the Twitty Fever Band is set for two performances, first at 7 PM and again at 9 PM. Catch the fever as Dave Rehrig pays tribute to Conway Twitty and his music!
With Conway Twitty’s blessing, Rehrig originally formed the Pennsylvania band in 1979. The current band was reformed in 1985 with Dave’s son Dustin’s help. Today the show is a highly entertaining mix of top 40 and classic country hits, combined with comedy and a special onstage tribute to the country legend. The Twitty Fever Band has opened for many national entertainers including Charlie Daniels, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, George Jones, Roy Clark, Lorrie Morgan, The Statler Brothers, David Lee Murphy, Marty Stuart, Ronnie McDowell, Cledus T. Judd, Mark Wills, Loretta Lynn, Stonewall Jackson, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Charlie Pride.
